Nadal not too happy about ATP calendar!!

Here is what I read this morning:

MONTE CARLO: World No 2 and claycourt master Rafael Nadal hit out at the ATP over a "crazy calendar" on Sunday. The Spaniard said men's tennis' ruling body was not taking the players' interests into account by scheduling three Masters Series events within four weeks.

"I said it a lot of times, the calendar is completely crazy. I think this is not fair for the European players and for the clay players, too. Three Masters in four weeks, it is too much," Nadal said at the Monte Carlo Masters Series.

What do you think of it?
I think he is right, these should be spread out more evenly over the whole year to allow for proper rest.
Tournaments of such intensity are prone to cause injury to players when you really want them to be able to compete at their best.. right?
